The Extreme Canoeing tour on the Mayo River is perfect for you! This 3-hour and 30-minute tour includes pick-up at your hotel or meeting point, round-trip transportation to the natural area, a floating activity on the water, and safety equipment provided by our tour guide.
🏞️ ACTIVITIES
We offer two departure shifts: Morning Shift (9 to 12 pm) and Afternoon Shift (3 to 6 pm). The adventure begins in the town of San Miguel del Río Mayo to Maceda, just 30 km from the city of Tarapoto.
Before starting, our tour guide will inform you about the safety and coordination measures necessary to ensure a successful and fun experience. During the tour, you will enjoy category I, II and III rapids. Halfway through, we will make a stop to rest and do the floating activity, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the river.
🌿 RECOMMENDATIONS
For a comfortable and safe experience, it is recommended to bring sunscreen and insect repellent. In addition, it is important to be respectful of nature and pick up all waste generated during the tour to preserve the natural area.
🚫 RESTRICTIONS
It is important to mention that places are limited, so we recommend checking availability beforehand.
Children aged 5 and over pay the normal rate, subject to evaluation. The itinerary may vary at the operator's discretion to ensure the safety of the traveller and the best development of the service. Children under 4 years of age do not pay, but remain under the responsibility of their parents throughout the programme.

● Flexible reservation: allows change of date subject to hotel availability.
● In case of reserving the room with the low season rate and the change is for high season, the guest must pay the rate difference.
